What is Chiropratic

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as the balance between three major elements: the structural, the chemical, and the emotional.
his balance forms what chiropractors call the “health triangle.”
Imbalance in one of these three areas, we begin to have symptoms of which the causes are often ignored. And as we all know, the more we ignore the cause, the more we get sick.
How does chiropractic intervene on this? Chiropractic helps us to understand it:
“Chiropractic is a primary and autonomous healthcare profession that deals with the analysis, treatment, and prevention of imbalances in the neuro- musculoskeletal system and the effects that such imbalances can have on the general health of the individual.”

The intervention of the chiropractor:
what it is and what to expect

Mainly the chiropractor has a manual approach that helps the locomotor system to communicate better with the nervous system. His intervention often includes manipulation, corrective exercises but also useful advice for a better lifestyle.

The goal of the chiropractor is to identify the causes of decompensation to the health of the person, remove them to start the body’s self-healing process and prevent disease, regularly checking the body and nervous system, to make sure that it is at its best.

Is Chiropractic Effective?
We asked 24,000 patients

Last year 24,000 patients who made use of chiropractic, completed the Care Response questionnaire. The goal was to receive feedback on the treatments they had performed.

The results, measured after two weeks and three months after the first visit, are as follows:
• Over 50% of patients reported significant results within the first two weeks following the first treatment.
• 2% of patients improved significantly and maintained results by the third month.
• only 0.6% were dissatisfied with the treatment.
