Lower Limb
Treated Symptoms
Cartilage
When the cartilage is damaged, painful symptoms can occur. In many cases, restoring correct mechanics improves joint function within its capabilities and symptoms diminish or disappear.
Crural pain
It occurs as a painful sensation in the front of the thigh, caused by the compression of a nerve. The problem is usually in the lower back but can be caused by dysfunctions located elsewhere. In most cases, it responds relatively quickly to chiropractic adjustment.
Coxarthrosis
Osteoarthritis or hip arthritis – See osteoarthritis.
Walking
Walk Analysis is one of our primary chiropractic analysis methods.
Knee
The knee is a fundamental joint for walking, which suffers from dysfunctions in the ankles, hip, and back. By acting on the vertebral and non-vertebral subluxations, their correct mechanics are restored and their symptoms eliminated.
Leg pain
See Sciatalgia, Myalgia.
Patellofemoral
It is a pathology that manifests itself with pain in the patellar area.
Paresthesia in the leg
Altered sensation. If due to a compressed or traction nerve it can be successfully resolved through chiropractic.
Bonion to the big toe
It is a deformation due to incorrect support of the foot. Often caused by a foot or pelvis problem, this condition can be solved with chiropractic.
Ankle
Outcomes of sprains and other injuries, as well as pain in the foot and ankle joints, are extremely common problems among sportsmen such as basketball and soccer players. Chiropractic treats these problems, giving excellent results.
Plantar fascitis
Due to incorrect walking mechanics, plantar fasciitis causes an annoying burning sensation in the feet. By reintroducing the correct movement of the feet and the step, the discomfort diminishes or disappears completely.
Metatarsalgia
It manifests itself as a painful sensation in the forefoot. Usually caused by an asymmetrical load during walking, this pathology can be solved with chiropractic.
Morton's neuroma
Often caused by joint pressure of the interdigital nerves, Morton’s neuroma responds well to chiropractic.
Hollow foot - flat
This problem can be solved in most cases with a long-term chiropractic strategy.
Tarsal tunnel syndrome
This syndrome involves pain in the ankle, foot, and sometimes toes, caused by compression or injury to the nerve that goes to the heel and sole. Symptoms include burning or tingling felt while walking or wearing certain types of shoes, which can be relieved with chiropractic.
Achilles tendonitis
A condition characterized by swelling, pain, inflammation, and stiffness of the Achilles tendon, a structure made up of collagen fibers that connect the muscles of the back of the leg to the heel, Achilles tendonitis can be solved with chiropractic.
Sprained ankle
A sprained ankle is an injury caused by a single episode, the sprain. Chiropractic can intervene on this condition, giving excellent results.
Tallonite
Heel pain is often solved by rebalancing the posture, gait, and biomechanics of the foot.
