Head and Neck

Treated Symptoms

In case of headache, the first vertebrae of the cervical and suboccipital muscles are prominent. Compressed by poor posture due to office work, they can become sore and cause pain in the neck, forehead, or eyes. Targeted adjustments, as well as postural and on-the-spot corrections, solve these problems.

Radiculopathy means damage to a nerve. It presents pain, tingling, or a sense of weakness in the hands, arms, or shoulders. Often, it presents with pain in the neck, shoulder, arm, and/or hand, tiredness, and rapidfatigue after a few movements with the arm, tingling, and weakness in the hand’s grip. The most commoncauses are herniated discs and cervical arthrosis. Still, in both cases, it is a problem due to mechanicaldysfunction of the musculoskeletal system and responds exceptionally well to chiropractic treatment.

Cervicoarthrosis is a non-inflammatory degenerative condition associated with ageing or instability in theneck. The neck feels stiff but not painful. If the patients are seen on time, and regularly, chiropractic adjustments and targeted exercises make the difference.

Whiplash often occurs following a car accident. In an RTA most common areas damaged are the shoulderdue to the seatbelt, the neck and spine joints and muscles, and if driving, the hands and elbow. In manycountries, chiropractic is recommended for its positive effects on the neck, chest, jaw, and spine. Thanks tothe various therapies, the consequences can be eliminated with a plan of care.

Chiropractic is exceptionally effective in “straightening” incorrect posture and reducing chronic and acutepains it causes.

Disc herniation is the last stage of intervertebral disc degeneration; the disc moves and causes inflammation of nearby nerves, resulting in pain in the shoulders, back, and pain down the arm and hand.

The chiropractic adjustment restores proper joint movement, decreasing nerve irritation and symptoms.

Neck pains are often caused by trauma or accentuated by poor posture and are among the most common problems we face. Neck pain is symptomatology that responds well to spinal adjusting (manipulation, soft tissue work (massage) and exercises to strengthen the muscles.

Thoracic outlet syndrome is caused by the compression of nerves and arteries between the neck musclesand the collarbone or first rib. Mechanical compression is often caused by poor posture, an injury, or a road traffic accident. The symptoms are similar to radiculopathy.

Vertigo and dizziness are mismatched communication between the eyes, ears and the input from the body. During your first visit, your Chiropractor will check the joints and muscles in your neck, jaw and feet andcheck good eye and ear function. At  the end of this exam, the Chiropractor will explain a plan to resolve thisissue as soon as possible.
